Château de Fontainebleau owns one of the world's last active Jeu de Paume courts — the direct ancestor of modern tennis.

First built in 1601 under King Henry IV, the court still keeps its original layout and limestone floor.

It regularly hosts international tournaments and daily training sessions — and it is considered the largest of its kind in the world.

So, you can still watch — or even play — on this historic court today.
