Dublin Castle was until 1922 the seat of the United Kingdom government's administration in Ireland, and is now a major Irish government complex. Most of it dates from the 18th century, though a castle has stood on the site since the days of King John, the first Lord of Ireland.

Jump start From pub crawls to pedal power, a group of lads burn off the calories with the pedibus, its thirsty work....going nowhere.
Hello shorty Summerhill Volvo Olympian RV 552 climbing past City Hall in Dublin operating an evening route 124 service to St James' Hospital. It was always going to be an "evening " service, as the route itself was a short working of route 123 from Marino to Drimnagh, with just three departures southbound at 17:30, 18:03 and 18:22 intermixed with the regular 123. The route came into being on the 20th August 2006 during a timetable revision of the 123 & with another change on the 14th November 2010. It was nice to capture the 124 display on a Vultron fitted display, as seen on RV 552 above. For more on the shorty route 124, have a visit to DublinBusStuff.... www.dublinbusstuff.com/PhotoWeek/Route124.html
