Metal Workers' Tapestry This was a partition between the tourist shop and the entrance to see the tapestries at the Chateau d'Angers (which are amazing). Light from outside was streaming in and providing the colour.

Château d'Angers Juliet's Log Wednesday 28th The campsite is situated on the edge of a 200 acre park / lake ( reclaimed swamp and gravel pit) and it is riddled with cycle tracks. So, from the entrance we were able to cycle 3 km offroad through the parkland into Angers and return around the other side of the lake - 5km in total. After a late start we decided to do this and have a reci of Tourist Office and centre. We bought a 24hr City Pass and visited the Cathedral - 12C and nicely modest. Cycled back at 6.0pm for a swim in the heated outdoor pool Thursday 29th Took the car in to Anger and used our City Pass to see the Castle, David Gallery and Museum de Beaux Arts. The castle was very impressive a very solomn structure built in 12 / 13C. It took us over 2 hours to look round all its areas including the Apocalypse Tapestry 103m long World; the longest in the World. We stayed for a very expensive but relaxed lunch. Too culture weary to get much out of the Museum so drove back via L'Eclerc for fuel and liquid sustainance. Gazole € 1. 32 per litre. We had a bite to eat and then walked upriver (Le Maine) as far as an old railway bridge of riveted structure; a beautiful walk under trees.
