This is THE Jugendherberge (Youth Hostel) - well, not exactly, but here in Burg Altena (Altena Castle) the world's very first permanent Jugendherberge was established by Richard Schirrmann (German) (English) in 1912. The old Jugendherberge is a museum now, and right next door to it you can find this modern one, which is also part of the castle.
